Aestivation was formed in the summer of '06 by Mathijs Tieken and Ziggy Schilpzand. The two ended up playing together in another band called Masked, but eventually left to make heavier music. The search for more bandmembers went on, finding Lucas Arnoldussen on bass and at first Tadzio Danniel on guitars, but after a few weeks they replaced him by Max Westendorp. In march '07 the band recorded a four song demo, In june the band recorded another 2 songs and found a singer: Noah Boardman. In januari 2008 the band split with Noah and found a replacement in the form of Ninos Mousa, vocalist for fellow metalband Cyanide. In march 2008 the band started to record vocals, finally and started to work on new material again. YOU BETTER BE PREPARED!
