RG has been repping the club scene for a number of years. Having already Mc’ed for some
of the top club nights and promoters in the country, RG brings excitement and
energy with the power of his voice.Having been a mainstay in the Montreal club scene since the age of 17, RG
originally formed a DJ duo with his then partner B-Ware and also with Lil'Buda aka J E Bunnz. Although the team was
successful, having 2 DJ’s and no MC made the pairing awkward, so RG decided to
use his talented voice on the microphone. Having been somewhat known as a
rapper/singer, RG was immediately a natural on the mic, quickly rising to
prominence alongside B-Ware.For several years, MC RG and B-Ware traveled
throughout Quebec, Nova Scotia and parts of Ontario.After graduating from college, RG moved to
Toronto, making Toronto his temporary home, RG soon found himself club hopping
every weekend, eventually breaking his way into some of Toronto’s top parties.RG’s unique style on the mic includes enthusiastic vocals and his outgoing
persona draws in the crowd and keeps them hype. Through word of mouth or after
having personally experienced RG’s vibe, nightclub promoters and owners
nationwide often seek out his talent for special events at their own venues.Since September of 2001, RG has become the official MC for DJ Baby Yu, touring
and hosting each and every event together. RG has also co-hosted his own weekly
radio show alongside DJ Baby Yu on Flow 93.5 FM every Sunday night from 8 until
10 for a year until they moved over to KISS 92.5 FM until the station made an
unexpected format change.RG has had the privilege of traveling around the world due to his voice skills.
He has been to Hong Kong, Belgium, France, across Europe and North America. He has also
had the pleasure to open up and host concerts for some of today’s biggest
artists. More specifically, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg, The Game and Nas,112, Allen Iverson, Big Tigger, DJ Jazzy Jeff,Fabolous, Fat Joe, Jin, Juelz Santana
Kanye West,to name a
few.MC RG has proven to be a national gem, and his skills are ready to be exposed to
