I am a Christian and am here simply to share my FAITH. The WORD of GOD is TRUTH and it has changed my life. My priorities are GOD, family and skateboarding. I get to go on many trips now and use my skateboarding as a platform to share my FAITH. Once I was lost but now I am found. I was divorced, suicidal and over my life, this is after accomplishing much of what I had dreamt about. Mark 8:36 "What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?". It really wasn't good at all, as much as I enjoyed parts of my life I really had no clue what anything was about, and as with most the focus was on self and my life. When you are part of the rat race, what is it exactly you are? A rat! As I considered my child and saw how my relationship between his Mum and myself had failed I chose to go after this God whoever He was and figure out if life really mattered. I figure, I was either an evolved ape, as many believe, and nothing then really matters, because we just happened, or life was relevant and there would be answers and a purpose. This was a quick was to figure out if all the struggle of life was is vain or had a purpose. Some months later after many a book, dvd, conversation and prayer I had gotten deep enough into most of what the world believes and understood nothing holds up. Buddhism? Do you really know who he was and what he believed? What was it about the crusades that didn't see right? All these different faiths and gods. How much of this pointed to why we are here, if we are loved, why we care about what we do and what happens once we die. I only found the answer in Jesus! I realized that Jesus Christ claimed He would show up in my life and change my heart. Not once I die, not tomorrow, but today, right now. I realized He made the offer for a person to meet Him. The Bible says in Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”Romans 3:10 "There is no one righteous, not even one”James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all"John 8:34, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”Hebrews 9:27 “man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,”Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death”So just of the verses here I understood that everyone has sinned, one time and broken one of Gods commandments. Lying over a piece of stolen bubble gum, dishonoring our parents, lusting after a person, hating a person which the Bible calls murder and so on. We have all sinned once, and separated ourselves from God. He is perfect, and cannot be around sin, and so He needs their to be justice in order for us to be reconciled to Him. Our payment for our sin, is death, not just the physical death, because of Adams sin, but once we our judged our Spiritual death, being separated from God for eternity. My payment for sin was death, but Jesus Christ hung on that Cross and shed His Blood for mine and the sins of the world once and for all.Hebrews 9:22 "In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness."This blood had to be spotless and only Jesus who is perfect because He lived a sinless life has the Blood to cover our sins. He chose to go to the Cross and take upon His flesh once and for all mankind's sins, so that as we believe in Him, we can be made whole and stand before God in Heaven with Jesus Blood interceding on our behalf. Wow, Praise Him and God the Father for such great love.Jesus today claims and brings to pass His Promise of Eternal life for those who believe, repent and follow.John 10:9 "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved."Revelation 3:20 "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."When Nicodemus asked Jesus what he must do to have eternal life Jesus told him he must be "born again". This is not a religion, it is a choice to repent of our lifestyle that leads to death, and be Spiritually born again through Christ's atoning blood with the end result being us becoming children of God, part of the Body of Christ.When a person truly lays down everything before the Lord He is able to enter in and take over and work on that persons life. The Word tells us to "draw near to God and He will draw near to you". "Seek the Lord while He may be found". It also tells us the "tomorrow is not promised" and that "today is the day of Salvation". Jesus enters in and cleanses us, making all things new and forgetting our sins.This being said, it isn't a one time prayer, but a changed lifestyle bearing fruit as evidence we are truly His. Jesus said "if you love Me keep my commandments". What did He command us to do?Acts 1:8 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."He told us to Go, preaching and sharing the "Gospel", the "Good news".We must stay in a place of daily repentance, hating sin and fleeing from it.James 2:14 "What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?"There should be an evidence we are His, because we are called to be the "Salt and Light", to "Carry or Cross" and Crucify our flesh"Luke 9:23-24 "Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.""After meeting kids who are broken, abused, addicted to crazy things and just generally lost it, it is easy to see what my future should be about. But remember we don't have to be that far to be that lost, not accepting the precious Blood of Jesus that was shed for us means we are lost in sin. People can't open up easily but when kids know you have real FAITH and long to help them it allows them to share and be freed from what has them. I am surrounded by people of all walks who have accomplished exactly what they wanted and they still don't have the answer and often have to medicate themselves with drink, women, more tricks, more money or whatever, maybe just their opinion. I don't want to see any of these kids growing up falling into the positions I fell into and worse. We can make a difference and should!The Word tells us that everything will pass away and that the Spiritual world is more real than this one. It refers to this life as bust a vapor, and then its gone, but eternity is forever. Jesus is a gentleman and cannot invade your space. He died that you and I may live and He is the only thing worthy. The Apostle Paul said...Philippians 3:8-8 "What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.All things are vain but Christ. Nothing bring true peace and eternal Life. You have heard it saidJohn 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."The Prophet Isaiah tells us in Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."So upon hearing this, we either recieve or reject, the choice is yours...Today I am remarried to that woman and have two children with her. My life is about Jesus Christ and that night when I asked Him to show up and change my life, He did. I told Him I would give Him my skating, get re-married to the same woman, get Baptised and do what He asks. This is my Walk, do you know yours? God Bless you, and seek the Lord while He may be found.You were made for more than being on here to get rated by some guy who will check out every other girl anyway. All of the lies of the world have made people think they need to be this slim, this build, have this personality and do such and such. In reality you were made exactly who you are and I believe that when you are in HIM, HE will give you exactly what you need. The Bible says women are to be cherished and not desired. To really cherish one another we must love one another as HE loves us. We are to love men as our brothers and women as our sisters. I will raise my children this way and I Pray that anyone on here feeling they need to show what is sacred to everyone else on here comes to a realisation. I hope you are not offended but seeing young kids being led into sin by the worlds standard is not something I approve of. More importantly it is not your purpose and will lead in sin. Abortions, broken homes, diseases, divorces and just people feeling hurt are often the result. There are GOD given promises for all who believe. Life can be amazing...in HIM! Repent, be baptised and live for HIM!
