There is one particular little girl I saw and added who has captured my heart. She is so beautiful and has been through so much in her 16 months of life. She has brain cancer (Ependymoma). She is such a fighter and the cutest lil thing you have ever seen. I have 2 children myself and can not imagine the torment and the uspeakable fear that Kelly (Karlie's mommy) goes through on a daily basis. Kelly is divorced and Karlie's natural father is a deadbeat who does not help in her medical care, has cut off the medical insurance and has last seen his daughter in October of 07. Regaurdless he has had interviews with local journalists pretending to care. Kelly has since remarried Edward. A loving and devoted real father to Karlie and has been the only father Karlie has ever known.
Together they had to quit their jobs and move to Boston where Karlie would receive her vital and critical 2nd part of treatment (proton Radiation) was chosen. The doctors say they have destracted 70% of the tumor in her 2 surguries she has recieved since diagnosed at 11 months old. This is truely a very fearful and scarey time.
I have added many banners to my page in support of Karlie! It is my mission in life to "MAKE A DIFFERENCE". To do something wonderful, to change the world and make it better for all life. This would truely gladden my heart if you would please post a prayer request for baby Karlie far and wide and ask that people repost as much as possible.
