“Music is the most important thing to me. It is the most powerful way of expression. Music can make the saddest man happy and vice versa.”
Born in Brussels in 1982, it is at the age of 8, when House music was at it’s begging in Belgian’s Club that Ninjakwan discovered electronic music. Thanks to his uncle that gave him the virus and shows him the different sides of electronic music.
During his adolescence Ninjakwan starts to listened Harder Music such as Happy Hardcore and Hardcore. It was a big difference for him and jumped between Trance and Hardcore. But he always preferred the heavy beats of hard music. That is the reason that today he chooses Hardstyle as main style.
“Of course I do like playing other style, like House or Trance, but the Hardstyle is giving me more possibilities of express myself. The energy released with the base mixed with the sweetness of some melodies really represents my way of seeing life: sweet but hard per moments.”
It is certainly his year in Australia that gave him the biggest opportunity by proposing his first regular event with Galaxy organised by a Japanese crew and his first residency at the Lowkey Recovery Club.
Now, back in Belgium, he hopes to continue on that way.
“Music his probably the best thing that happened to me, I hope to continue in that world as long as possible”
