Miss Djax is the alias of Saskia Slegers. Not only an excellent deejay, but also the founder of Djax Records in 1989. Djax (and its variety of sub-labels) must undoubtedly be considered as one of the most important dance labels in the world. At the back of the book '1989 - 1999 Djax Records The Power of the Underground' James Hymann, (MTV Europe) calls it 'one of the decade's crucial labels' and further 'one of the world's most talked about labels'. No surprise then, Djax received many awards being best record label. Miss Djax had her international breakthrough when she played at the notorious Mayday rave in Berlin in 1992. With her hard and uncompromising techno set she made great impression on the many promoters present and she played the mainstage at all big international parties from that day on...
In 1993 Miss Djax was declared ‘DJ of the Year’ by Frontline (nowadays Raveline) Magazine. In the years that followed her name was always in the international top 10. This year its 20 years since Djax Records was founded. D-Feat aka Bruno Nimmegeers born the 23rd of March 1982 in Brussels - Belgium. Started his deejay career at the age of 12 when he bought his first cd-player with pitch control. From then on he started to play at different locations like local parties in schools, weddings, birthday’s and pub’s all around Brussels. When he finished school he decided to work allowing him to buy some turntables and vinyls. Club, Jump, Techno, Hard-Tek, What some clubbers would call HARDDANCE or Pumping Techno, became his Style! A year later he sent a demo tape to the well known Dutch radio, Topradio for the Dj Contest2003, he qualified and arrived in the final. He was the only dj who mixed Harddance. After that he participated at the Jump Attack Dj Contest (beginning 2003) where he took the 1st place. In July 2004 Dj Ghost gave him the opportunity to play on his B-day Bash and from then on it never stopped! He Became resident dj on the 2Hard2Furious party's in the legendary Cherrymoon Club and started to play as a guest in all the biggest Belgian clubs... From the opening in Oktober 2005 till september 2007 D-Feat was saturday's resident in Belgian's biggest Harddance club called 'Complex' but decided to stop to start his own partyconcept called 'GoHardOrGoHome' and to have more time for producing. D-Feat played on nearly every big party or festival in the Benelux such as Decibel Outdoor (nl), Reverze, Bassleader, Cityparade, with some gigs in France, Spain,... and he's also resident on the Power Events once a month in Fuse - Brussels,... =His first releases are expected for end 2007...
