Comic Books top my list, writers I follow are Geoff Johns and Judd Winik. Ethan Van Sciver is a great artist. Sci-Fi and alternate history books, Harry Turtledove and Orson Scott Card. The Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Larel K. Hamilton.
Any man or woman serving in any branch of the US Military. Firefighters, Police Officers, and any EMS personel. And all those who gave their lives to save others on 9/11.
