Epidemic Proportions

Epidemic Proportions, which means: the spreading amongst the masses of balance and symetry through music ,was founded in 2006 by brother and sister Erik Miller (drums) and Meredith Miller (piano/keyboards). , The Wilmington, NC based band fuses dark and intense keyboard and haunting piano melodies with modern and classic metal, creating a sound unlike any other in the current rock scene. After many months of trials and tribulations including lineup changes and countless hours in rehearsal, all of the pieces have finally fallen into place. Samuel Edwards (vocals/keyboards), Andrew Love (lead guitar) and Mark Drew ( rhythm guitar) mix perfectly with Erik and Meredith's music and the synergy among the five raises Epidemic Proportions to a new level that does not compromise artistic vision yet attains broad commercial appeal. In fact, some say they have created an entirely new genre within rock which the band members have dubbed "Epic-metal".
