All kinds of movies, especially sci-fi, horror and other genre types. Animation, but not squealy anime. Synthpop, electro-techno and older industral music. I look nice and innocent on the outside, but I definitely have something dark hiding inside!
I'd prefer not to be someone's "project," nor do I want a project of my own. If you have a whole closet full of baggage or if you have issues galore, I am not the right guy for you. I'd like a "partner in crime," someone to dream and explore with, rather than just to fill the empty spaces. What, am I being too specific? Okay, here is what I am looking for, boiled down to its essence: I am looking for a smart, sexy, funny girl who wants to be my "partner in crime" and not make me her social experiment. Most specifically: no flakiness!! And please be true to yourself first. I am originally from Colorado, and went to college in Montana, so I believe I have a different set of ideals. I would like to find someone who is ambitious and creative. I'm a kid at heart, and require someone equally as playful!
Covenant, And One, Fischerspooner, anything on old Razormaid, Kraftwerk, Human League, New Order, Depeche Mode, Apoptygma Berzerk, Red Flag, Icon of Coil, Cabaret Voltaire, Skinny Puppy, Billy Idol, Elektric Music, Robotiko Rejekto, synthpop. If it comes out of a synthesizer I'm probably all over it. Early 90's industrial/electro.
Star Wars (the original 3, the prequels suck), Lord of the Rings, Batman Begins, Kung Fu Hustle, Sin City, Serenity (Firefly), Kill Bill, The Matrix, Swingers, 24 Hour Party People, Akira, American Graffiti, Near Dark, City of Lost Children, Monsters Inc, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, 16 Candles, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, War of the Worlds, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Napoleon Dynamite, Rushmore, Hellboy, Hustle & Flow, Flash Gordon, Kill Bill, Ed Wood, Buckaroo Banzai, Real Genius, Heavy Metal, Desperado, The Life Aquatic, Equilibrium, Made, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels, Predator, Tron, Animal House, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Lost Boys, Clerks II, Time Bandits, Dune, Road Warrior, Mystery Men, Fight Club, Dragonslayer, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny, Surf's Up (just to name a few) all kinds of horror movies, especially zombie movies! Now I'm all excited waiting for Transformers. That might be a mistake.
Battlestar Galactica is awesome, and may be the best bit of sci-fi ever on TV. Lost, but it is beginning to lose me. Entourage, Six Feet Under (RIP), The Sopranos(RIP), American Chopper, Miami Ink, American Hot Rod, Deadliest Catch, Good Eats, lots of stuff on the Discovery Channel, Robot Chicken, anything that I can Tivo and skip the commericals.
Favorite Books:
Stephen King's "The Stand" still freaks me out to no end. Anything written by Alan Moore. The Watchmen is one of the best works of fiction, regardless of the fact that it is a comic book. I typically re-read it every year or so. I read just about everything I can get my hands on. I'll read the back of the cereal box during breakfast. I also read (but don't collect) a lot of comic books, such as Hellboy, Metabarons, The Walking Dead ... all kinds of good stuff like that! Frazetta art books...incredible inspiration.
It was George Lucas, but the Star Wars prequels were a massive let-down. Okay, can I replace him with Peter Jackson? Wait, King Kong was too friggin' long and self-indulgent. I'll have to get back to you on the heroes bit. Save the cheerleader, save the world.
