-And Sometimes-
Beginning Beginners

We are Drifters In A Helicopter. As all of you know, it's very hard to keep a helicopter maintained, especially when you're a pennyless drifter. Sometimes our propeller doesn't work - and the Helicopter doesn't work, so we're kind of stuck. No longer Drifters with a Helicopter - we become The Keith Moon Ketamine Extravaganza. In the rare occasion we don't have drums or electricity, we then go back to our foundation and become Beginning Beginners.
Drifters In A Helicopter is a four-piece grunge band/The Keith Moon Ketamine Extravaganza is a two-piece drum and bass experiment/Beginning Beginners is a nostalgic folk-storytelling show.
Altogether, we are a band from Rhinelander, Wisconsin who just want to play some music and put on a good show.
The band started with a 2am jam session between dave christ the jesus bonson and justice fralick, we liked what we did until we played it later, but we decided to roll with it anyway.
Throughout the year our band has gone through a plethora of changes, may it be drummers or band names. However, Dave and Justin have remained loyal and are two of the original/forming members of the band. We recently had to kick our drummer out of the band for personal differences and our singer moved away. However, we picked up yet another drummer who has shown he is capable of keeping up with our unusual yet catchy style of playing. We also are working with another female vocalist and hopefully she can fill the void. Though only being around for a little over a year our band has been through a lot and our music shows that.
We plan on going on a tour next spring during tornado season and tour tornado alley, so we can be storm chasing bad ass'. If that goes as planned we will be setting up a national tour shortly after that. Justin has many side projects which are amazing. They are Smoke Less and Eat More Fruit and Daimon, theyre not the same musically as DIAH but are awesome nonetheless. Dave also drums in the band called The Shitts.
