About Me

I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
Having been raised on Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Queen, and the sounds of Persian and Turkish music, Nima had always been a fan of music. As a young child of 5, Nima would even pick up his toy guitar and strum along to the theme song of Sesame Street. However, it all started when Nima got his hands on his first CD, Weird Al Yankovic's "Polka Party." Then came Snoop Dogg's "Doggystyle" and Warren G's "Regulate...G Funk Era." These were to be the seeds sown for Nima's musical future. Although Nima was a budding clarinet player, he was too in love with the guitar not to pick it up. At the age of 12, Nima's parents bought him his first guitar and lessons and Nima was soon obsessed. However, the true life changing moment of Nima's musical career was when he picked up Rage Against the Machine's "Evil Empire." The album was an epiphany for Nima for he soon knew what he was destined to do in his spare time. Practicing hours a day and relentlessly listening to bands like 311 and (hed)pe, Nima quickly formed his first ramshackle garage band named Mobocracy. Playing a few shows including being taped for a David Letterman show that was never to be aired, Mobocracy disbanded after inner band turmoil and skewed musical visions. The next musical step for Nima came in the form of the growing movement of techno music. Amazed by the immense synth tones and slamming beats, Nima picked up on all the different dance music styles including trance, drum n bass, and breakbeats and soon found himself producing his own amateur electronic tracks. With the help of MP3.com, Raver FX was born. Nima soon gained underground notoriety and acclaim with the release of his track "Darth Techno" which married warbled synths and a driving beat with Star Wars samples and was to become the ..1 techno song on MP3.com of 1999. After 3 albums, many side projects, and a cult following of internet enthusiasts, Nima pulled the plug on Raver FX after MP3.com went out of commission. Now, Nima writes rap/rock music under the name of Nimalicious...for more info, check out www.myspace.com/nimalicious

Masterful with a lightsaber, and well knowlegdable in the force. Hatred runs deep throughout your body. Yet your feelings towards others is very strong, full of love.
