Cold, Grim Black Metal

About Me

In the early winter of 2004 a new horde of evil was unveiled. With little to know of the black metal scene in El Paso, Nazorath and Lord Malphas (beholders of the axe's of might) take on the duty of creating the most darkest and occult project. Yet later introducing three new warriors, to which would complete the legion, gives hails to Aghmeth on the Low End Pulsing Holocaught, Pytho on the Infernal Beats of Desecration and finally Innominate on the Shrieking Screams of Desolation.
BLACKTHORN was then given birth. Only to bring darkness and doom to the minds of the weak. To be heard only by the ears of the anti-christian hordes and all that spit on the cross and go by the ways of the hammer.
BLACKTHORN keeps the ways of the true black metal musik. Influenced by early 90's black metal, when black metal was at its peak.
After many problems, arrests and contreversies within the band, BLACKTHORN has come back stronger than ever before. The years of 2005 and 2006 were slow and rough for the band. In the end of 2006 BLACKTHORN had their final tracks up and ready for release. In January 2007 Malphas took over vocals due to an inccident with Innominate. Later that month BLACKTHORN records their first demo after a three year wait "Blackthorns on the Skull of Christ" Unholy black metal the way it was meant to be played.
