Hi This is Gary From The Rezidents......
I thought I'd better do a proper Biog and let you know what is what....
I've been in the business over 18 yrs now, starting off as a break dancer in the early 80's and appearing in T.V shows like:- Eastern Eye, Granda Reports etc.
Later on in the 90's I became a Nightclub Podium Dancer and even performed my stuff on programs like Hit Man & Her and Dance Energy and even danced for Sybil, Kenny Thomas, Edwin Star, Love Land and a few more I could Mention.......
After quite a hectic dancing career and moved to both the DJing and Producing side as I saw this as a natural progression....
However I started my DJing career as a Mobile DJ doing the normal Birthdays & weddings, while as night I practised DJing for the bigger league at home in my studio (Well Bedroom Really)....
By the late 90's I was well on my way to progessing up the DJ/Producer ladder by becoming a finalist the UK DJ Chamionships and even having a No1 Hardhouse hit in the DMC Hard house chart, which also secured a remix agreement with DMC UK for myself.
The Rezidents came about in 2001 after I bumped into Scott at a radio station we both had shows on and decided to produce our first track which was "Popcorn" that sold over 5000+ records on its first outting on our own label.
Since then we have had 8 No1 dance hits in various charts and have appeared on 4 No1 club albums as The Rezidents and a further 3 under different aliases along with acts like: Ultrabeat, LMC, Alex K, Nick Skitz, Eric Prydz, Rachel Stevens, Flip N Fill, Voodoo & Serano and more........Plus 1 Russian album.
As the Rezidents we have DJed all over the UK and abroad with some of the biggest and best DJ's and have provided remixes for a number of artists.
On that note we have also DJed with some of the worlds biggest tossers who think the world should bow down to their feet.....(You Know who you are)....
We both love music and love nothing more than sharing it with others......
