Brinley Addington was born and raised in Kingsport, TN. Brinley began singing country music at age 3 and since then, never showed interest in doing much else. Even then, he knew country was his "thing." He began singing publicly in the seventh grade and developed a love for performing. The first cassette Brinley ever owned was Bryan White's "The Right Place" album, which led to him singing all of the songs on the tape. When Brinley was in the fourth grade, his mom and dad got him tickets to a Bryan White concert in Knoxville, TN and after seeing him perform, Brinley knew exactly what he wanted to be when he grew up. At age 13, he recorded his first CD, a gospel project, called, "I Stand Redeemed" which was followed shortly by his first country album entitled, "The Way I Feel," which was a CD of covers of Brinley's favorite country songs at the time. A year and a half later, Brinley went back into the studio to record a third album, "Nothing To Lose" (Once again, filled with his favorite country covers.) It was after producing this CD that Brinley realized how addicting recording can be. Several months later, Brinley recieved the opportunity to record another Christian album with the same studio as his first CD with Wayne Bledsoe producing. Brinley says, that project was "... by far one of my best experiences ever. I really enjoyed working with Wayne again and being able to produce a quality album which glorifies God, who gave me the gift to sing in the first place." After all that recording, Brinley thought that he should take a break and not record anything new for a while, however, at the urging of friends and family, Brinley recorded a fifth album during his senior year in high school called "Changes." Brinley chose this name for the CD, "Because of all of the things that happened in my life this year and all of the changes that are going to continue to happen." Brinley Addington is attending college to study Music Business and hopefully bring him a step closer to his dream of being a professional country entertainer. If you have any questions about Brinley or his music, feel free to ask! May God bless you and long live country music!
