In November of 2004, Lead singer Tim Ciesielski found Guitarist Matt Musko on an internet forum for local musicians. The two started "messing around" with some Country songs, and Buc Wyld had it's early beginnings. After playing a few small parties in the Butler, PA and Cortland, OH areas, they began to think bigger. They decided an acoustic band wasn't "Wyld" enough, they needed more.In early 2005, they added a Drummer and brought in Tim's long time friend, Kevin O'Malley on Bass. Still looking to complete their "sound", they picked up Ed Keenan's Keys and backup vocals, to fill in what was missing, and the full sound was completed. Early 2007 brought about some changes to the Buc Wyld line up. Shawn Ruch took over as the lead guitar player. And also at this time, Nick Wuchenich was added taking over the throne behind the drums.After fine tuning it's sound for a couple of months as an opening act, they started out on their own in May '05 by headlining their first show. Buc Wyld quickly began traveling the difficult road of playing live Country Music in the Tri-State area.In June '05, they were blessed with their first opportunity to play a show with Froggy Radio, a local Country radio station, in attendance. They have opened for national acts such as Ben Folds, and shared the stage with the Povertyneck Hillbillies on many occasions. Buc Wyld has twice been featured on Froggy Radio's "12 Bands of Christmas", performing a live Christmas song during the Danger Show. New Years Eve 2006 brought Buc Wyld an opportunity to play the Pepsi Cola Roadhouse, the top Country venue in the Tri-State area. And they are not showing any signs of slowing down.Whether you are a hard-core Country fan, or just enjoy a high energy, entertaining live band, Buc Wyld has what you are looking for. Come on out and enjoy the greats of yesterday, and the favorites of today. Throw in a few of their original songs, and you are bound to have a “Buckin’ Good Timeâ€.
