I've Been getting asked alot when the band formed.. and to be quite frank we're not really sure. The band started off as "Prolonged" Back in 04 (i think) with hoffy on bass, fish (now in boston) on drums, and bouldy (now in the navy) on guitar. I (reuben) joined the band as the new singer and guitarist in mid 05, bouldy quit within a fortnight, and we changed our name to cause for concern dude to fish randomly writing CFC on a piece of paper, then trying to make a band name out of it with his class mate. We played our first gig on Dec3 05, then fish moved to america 2 weeks later. It wasnt for another 6months that we were told about an awesome drummer (simmo), that had moved into our area all the way from gladstone, that we got back into the swing of things. Simmo ruled, so he stayed in the band, and he has continued ruling right to this very day.
We're from the south, near the midcoast. This location in itself has had a huge influence on our playing style, with bands like sandcrak, misled, the brews, and others coming from the same local area. Our songs are mainly either political (anti-war, anti-bush, and semi-anarchistic) or about life in general (dealing with the shit that life can throw at you). We try to keep our music fast, and energetic, without losing site of our original, skatepunk style. Keep an eye our for when we FINALLY fuckin record.
