Red White & Blue

The band known as Red White & Blue started in 1997, had played a few shows & recorded two demo tapes. One of these tapes found it's way into the hands of Pure Impact (a Belgian-based independent record label), who had contacted the band to record a CD for him. We did with the end result being "Patriotic Glory". A GREAT review of the CD even made it to the pages of FLIPSIDE magazine! Soon after a show in Canada, our drummer decided to leave the band. Knowing we had some shows lined up, we scrambled to find a replacement. Fortunately for us, we found a fan of ours (who was acttually playing in another band at the time) and he was able to play ALL the songs (without a practice session) in time for our next show. We were contacted by many other labels, including Rock-O-Rama, to sign with them. So, as fans of the music R-O-R had put out, we agreed to re-mix our earlier demo recordings. Originally titled "The Demos"then changed to "Boots Of Pride". We were asked by the owner of the U.S. based label, Hang 'Em High Records to do a few songs for a compilation algum. So we went back to the studio to record 2 new songs, "Downfall Of Society" and "Boys From Jersey". From what I understand, the label had folded and sent the songs to Pure Impact, who then released the songs as a 7" record. By this time, our "new" drummer had decided to quit. We did, eventually, find another drumme. We probably had enough material for a double album but the band broke up for good before we had a chance to what were probably the BEST songs we ever had. Since then, "PatrioticGlory" has been released on limited edition color vinyl on Dim Records. And from what I understand, there are still a few copies on CD available through Pure Impact (but not many).
