As always my best ideas come to me in the bath.
I never considered the idea of putting a collection of sixty second tracks on a record completely original, but I thought it would be a good challenge to post the idea on various music message boards to challenge artistes to come up with tracks.
Many already had some very short songs, some shortened their work, and some as the project emerged into a contemporary album, proved sadly unusable.
There are too many of these brilliant artistes to mention here, but I thank them for their contributions. In many ways, some of the musicians on this record failed at the challenge, by being just under or just over the time, this was a worry for me in compiling the tracks, as I expected stick from the press for just failing in my goal.
However, the most important thing is YOU the listener. I wanted to make you a lovely, sometimes chilling, sometimes danceable, and sometimes just a plain silly album.
This is new music, of many styles from around the world, (UK, America, Austria). You can listen to it in many ways. One of my favourite ways is to pretend the lyrics are a parlour game of Consequences.Here indeed is the consequence, I hope you enjoy it.
