im a graphic designer, who loves photography, illustration, and electronic music, specially electro, tech house, deep house, house and similar sounds, i like drum n bass as well, dub, lo-fi and chill, and old school hip hop... in fact i like many kinds of music but just with quality. i like to dance, specially on a loud and dark dancefloor. sometimes salsa why not. i like going out with friends, but i really enjoy quite nights too. i love travelling and found diferent aspects on known places, cities, beaches, streets, mountains, probably travelling is the thing i will do and enjoy the most till the last day. being a designer open me to the arts, but i started to get into the arts before college, when i started watching street art and drawing on blackbooks, and with earlier influences within my family. i really love arts, any kind, but what i love more is illustration, photography and video. painting freights was what i used to love back in the days, but then started to work and found some other methods to do stuff. started the 'cheken' collective with eden and ricardo, sending graphic art with messages via email. after that started another project with pebfive a great partner since freight times and a very creative mate, years after planned 'e-lab' a graphic collective with members in diferent cities in mexico, but based in guadalajara and frisco in the states. back in 2004 i started a tshirt project wich is still on the paper and is due to come, after a minor production in 2005. on the musical side, i started watching hiphop and listening to it on its gold era, the 90s, and it was a big influence for me and ejoyed its lifestyle, basketball, graffitti, music... then i started to search new artists like in acid jazz and other stuff like dj krush and ninja tunes and it moves me to get really into electronic music. so it was back in 1996 when i started to play the decks along with unbeatable partner and friend dj stress, playing in parties and any kind of event we were invited, forming 'funk truck sound system' and giving breaks and beats to anybody. 2001 was the year i decided to move to the uk, getting really close with the electronic scene and the english graphic movement, spending year and a half on the island. as a professional designer ive worked for a national newspaper, freelancing and currently working in an advertising agency. one of my favorites hobbies is djing, playing mostly in private parties. i do like sports as im a football fan, and also practiced mountain bike. i like to try diferent things and be open to new forms of what could be my influences, it could be music, arts, sports, etc.
