HotFreeLayoutsOne Hawk Music was founded in 2000. It was started by myself James Hawkins(A.K.A. Big Jay Lou). I've always loved music and Hip Hop is my way of life.I remember freestylin' on my brothers front stoop and saw all the talent right there in front of me and said "we need to record this shit!" but starting your own label aint eazy! I figured if we all put our money in to buy equipment we could be like co owners or something like that. Well things don't work like that so I pieced together my own little home studio and self taught myself how to make beats and how to record our music.My 2 cousins Lorenzo & Marcus Hawkins had already started their label a few years before I did (The Mighty HR!/Hawkins Records)and I didn't want to intrude on what they were doing so this Hawkins had to go for self! Now at present time I've done Beats for infrared,Ryme Skeem,Tha True SB's,Young Gutta and of course, myself.I've also been featured on 2 of infrared's CD's 2004 The Resevior Dog/ 2005 infrared ROSES.I'm curently working on a group LP with Tha Tru SB's and your boy Big Jay Lou......
