DEI NOSTRI

Dei Nostri started in 1996, and is my Death Industrial/Power electronics project. To begin with I worked with freeware midiprograms, which I soon found unsuitable for the sound I wanted. I saved some money for a couple to buy a syntheziser and a cheap 4 track.
From the beginning the music was more Dark ambient. I released two tapes demo 1, and demo 2 in very limited editions.
Between 1998-2000 I sent some tapes to a couple of labels, and also promised a few other labels to send them material. I bought a new 4 track recorder (Minidisc portastudio), and started to work again. Unfortunately my second home studio collapsed, and many labels never got their material. I was offered to be on LSDO´s compilation Death Kontakt II, which I never got any copies of, why I dont know if I was released on it. Therefore im not sure weither I was released on the compilation or not.
In 2002 my homestudio was functional again, and I got a few new synthesizers and effects to develop my sound. I got in contact with a few other noise musicians, among others Daniel Lundh of Guttural Strap-on.I worked a couple of months and released the very old school oriented power electronics cdr/tape "Angst, blood and semen", as well as a compilation under my label name Kadaverfauna, ( 2003) as well as a split with Daniel Lundhs project Total Dunkelheit. Daniel has helped me out with pictures (photographs) for Dei Nostri, and have given me alot of positive feedback.
The studio was repaired three times, before I gave up and started to save some money on new equipment. In march 2006 I released Intimtet. Instead of regular true crime or porn topics the album is focused on true uncensored emotions (introvert or extrovert). I find it better working that way, since Dei Nostri is a way for me to express emotions too extreme or artistic ideas that are too controversial. My friend Gudrun Hagerö (a swedish photographer) did some pictures (photographs) for Dei Nostri (mostly pictures of me nude posing with a steak knife).
The Intimitet record have got very positive response, and the first limited edition sold out in a week. Around 50 copies of the regular edition got distributed/traded and sold in 2 weeks!
Dei Nostri "Vagina" was released on tape in late Fabruary on Smell The Stench. I havent got my copies of it yet but it contains two new tracks as well as the song Vagina which was also released on the intimitet album. There is a picture of one of my female fans vagina on the cover.
Past concerts:
The first Dei Nostri concert ever was performed at Nihil Humanum festival Karlstad/Sweden 030714, which was organised by Sid Portström of Ship Going Down (other acts performing was Ship Going Down, Guttural Strap-on and Primas Annias).
Three of Dei Nostris concerts would never happened without the help of Daniel Lundh, who has organised events for noise artists and released albums with various noise artists on his labels Pure Satanic Noise and Syndrom Productions.
These concerts were held in Sandhem 040109 (other acts performing was: Guttural Strap-on, Konstruktor, Audio Warfare and Ship Going Down),
Luleå 040814 (other acts performing was Toni Kandelin, Guttural Strap-on and O.m.s - n.m.a), and;
Umeå 050910 at noisebath (Organised by Moonshake, other acts performing was Olle Oljud and Daniel Lundh/Sofia Kurkinen).
2006-03-31 I performed and had a 10 year anniversary. The concert got very short, since one of my effects broke during a reharshal why I had to do only 3 songs instead of four. The audience was calm but great, one person cried, some were a little bit too drunk, one person seemed a little bit stoned and all gave great response after the concert.
2007-04-28 I arranged a Industrial Music Evening Called "Bleeding Ears, Broken Arse". Except from me, Yetser Hara (Death Industrial/Power Electronics) and Inferior (Dark Ambient/Industrial) performed. The Dei Nostri concert was the most violent so far (I actually got hurt). My friend Gudrun (who got to the hospital for alcohol poisoning that night) helped out. I will probably arrange something next year too. One industrial event a year, cheaply and illegaly arranged.
For the ones who was supposed to be on the second Kadaverfaunacompilation, I must sadly admit that it will never be released, since my equipment crashed. I am currently trying to do a total different compilation, which will contain a lot of dark industrial and Death Industrial, aswell as a little bit of Power Electronics.
I am working again with a second attempt for a cdr comp. It seems to work out fine, except for some layout problems and lack of time!
