An event supporting electronic artists and djs both locally, regionally and even internationally. More than just "Electro/IDM/Experimental", Synthetic also likes global pop, sharp-and-minimal-tech, bass heavy and clarity laden indie dance shite, progressive dub, shoegaze-tronica, wayward hip hop, electro'd punk, drum-n-fuk, art-punk-noise-jazz and whateva else. A step up and out from the common shit.
Synthetic is no longer a monthly, and will now simply be the name for the more or less two man outfit that brings dope eclectronicuh music to Sac on a "whenever" basis. Mupetblast has moved to the bay area, and Fruitbat is busy with his own projects. The Synthetic page will double as a "hub" for IDM-electronicuh-left field beats news and shows relating to the Sacramento and bay area, mostly for Sacramento fans. Shows promoted individually by Fruitbat and Mupetblast in other venues will see bulletins and whatnot posted by the Synthetic page, and artists' pages linked.
