DIVERGENCE was born in 1996.
DIVERGENCE is a COLD WAVE band that has been created as Act of Resistance in a time where everyone was rejecting/ignoring the COLD WAVE thinking it was a Gay Crap.
DIVERGENCE Keyword is AVANT-GARDE

DIVERGENCE has always been apart from any kind of scene , because the Music Itself rejoin the Harsh versus the Pleasent & the Soft . The band's evidence rely on SIMPLICITY and efficient MELODIES . ART as a form of ROMANTICISM . GREY MELANCHOLY as a Form of ART.
It can be interpretated as BLACK and WHITE MUSIC that uses Human Melancholy instead of useless Dark Cliché Idioms/idols.
LOUD FENDER BASS SOUND vs Electronic PURE ANALOG are widely used to provide a ROUGH PROTO EXPERIMENTAL SOUND EFFECT.
By Year 2006 , time was coming to celebrate the 10 years of the band . Therefore , DIVERGENCE I and DIVERGENCE II have been released by the Independant/Alternative SECONDHAND DAYLIGHT RECORDS / SHDR_Post_Synth Label.
Another album is now Scheduled for mid-2008, so soon...keep in touch. Some news will be added here.
