Pat Ruiz —Born and raised in Gilroy, Ca: Pat has been behind the kit since age 7. Over the years Ruiz has been involved in a number of prominent California bands. His most successful project “Salmon”(1994-2000) was signed with Red Ant Records in 1996 and toured with several national acts such as Deftones, Korn, Snot, Bad Brains, 311, and Incubus. Other Projects include Triple Seven, Setacide, Jade of Days and The Mercy Clinic. Now in 2006, Ruiz begins a new era with his newly formed project IF TIME FAILS. With a new style of metal and years of experience behind his belt Ruiz plans to take his drumming to a whole new level.
Steed Najera -- Born in San Jose Ca,: self taught bass player from bay area, at age 13 after seeing Steve Harris of Iron Maiden decided to pick up a bass. Steeds band history- Triple Seven under Spun Out Records, The Mercy Clinic, and If Time Fails. He has also played in various studio sessions for universal studios. He has various songs in the film industry including - Eight Legged Freaks, Big fat Lier, current film 88 minutes and many independent films, also music in the gaming industry - Playstation games - Knock out kings 2002-2003
Matt Fischer --Born and raised in San Jose, CA: Fisch taught himself how to play the bass at the age of 14, and soon after moved on to play the guitar. Previous bands include State the Obvious and Our Stolen Summers. Fisch's dynamic guitar style and years of experience set the foundation for IF TIME FAILS' musical direction. Formed in January of 2006 IF TIME FAILS fuses several diverse musical influences to create something unique in a world plagued by indistinguishable music and mirror-like bands.
