About Me

Virtually Nothing is an unconventional, The Hague orientated, metalcore/screamo band.
We are unconventional cause of our weird musical ideas. Our name is from a movie. It had a few contexts which we found interesting.
The band was founded in august 2004 and consists out of four nutcases:
Jasperius Geronimo L. @ Bassguitar
Serge Lichtveld @ Guitar/2nd voc
Karim Kadri@ Drums
Danny van der Kraan @ Vocals

We make freaked up metalcore/screamo cause of our sources of inspiration and the difference between band members in musical taste. To give an idea: From The Dillinger Escape Plan to Johnny Truant, from Unearth to Saosin, from Alexisonfire to Cancer Bats, from Textures to Killswitch Engage.
Our lyrics are just as diverse as our inspirations. Lyrics about society, politics, personal experiences, conceptual ideas. The whole bunch just mixed up!
Our shows are in one word: ENERGETIC! Rumour has it that people who stood still had to gasp for breath while we did all the jumping and moshing. We know how to channel our energy trough our music into the crowd.
In conclusion, Virtually Nothing is an energetic live band which has to be seen and/or heard. So dont be afraid and check out our great shows for yourself! Untill then!
