About Me

I like a pint of lager or stout and I'm a HUGE fan of the football (AKA soccer), especially the Arsenal FC of Ashburton Grove, London, N5. Gooner for Life, right? Arsenal 'til I die! Also, nuff respect-- the Famous Glasgow Celtic, and Club Atlas de Guadalajara. I also like punk, oi!, roots reggae (I LOVE that Jamaican style), son cubano, la huasteca, el vallenato, old soul- Stax/Volt, R&B, zydeco, and traditional Irish folk music such as- sean nós, rebel songs and ballads, jigs, reels, airs, and anything you'd hear in a pub in Co Clare. I enjoy traveling, reading, writing, learning new things and meeting new people. I am quite interested in history, politics, literature, film, music, philosophy, and surprisingly even fun things like video games (ProEvo 2007 and Rugby 08). I have very strong political convictions, but I will gladly put them aside to discuss truly important aspects of life like THE Arsenal. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Oh to be a Gooner! Some Love for Adebayor.

What a match the Arsenal played yesterday!  Exhilirating may be one of the best words to describe it.  I could go into all the details, but my main idea has to do with Emmanuel Ade...

Whiny right wingers... what’s new?

So don't you dare say anything bad about David Petraeus.  Don't even think of mocking this fine man and brave soldier.  Don't even consider questioning his assessment of progress made by our...

The Scum...or Us and Them

Tomorrow we get the Scum, well, actually 'they' get 'us', but whatever, it's the first of at least two meetings between the two North London clubs and I've been waiting for this for a while.  'Th...

The Iraq Progress Report!

I'm trying my best not to be so cynical, but it's getting harder to maintain an objective outlook when one has been lied to time and again.  Case in point.... The Iraq Progress Report.  I ...

I heard Karl Rove went on the Pig Man's radio show and said that critics of Bush are 'elite, effete snobs'.  Well, well, well... Where shall I begin?  I consider myself to be an unrepentan...

The Immigration Issue...
