From The streets of New Orleans. A man with street cred and the heart of a lion. Growing up in the streets he learned how to feed himself by all means possible. It didn’t come as an act as he holds himself with the confidence and swagger of one of the realist alive. Deranged started his career as a club freestyle champion in the streets of New Orleans and surrounding cities mostly doing underground gangster hits. He refused to go commercial and kept the streets bumping his albums for years under a cloud of who did it . He wanted to wait until he was ready to come out commercial before he signed a deal . Deranged was approached by many labels in the Louisiana and Texas markets, however, decided that if he signed a deal it would be with a major company . He has one solo album he dropped independently which sold 10000 copies on the street with only word of mouth advertising. Deranged and Chris Barnett aka Chris Real started a studio in 2004. By August of 2005 they had two albums completed and almost ready to drop simultaneously. Unfortunately the storm took the homes of Deranged and Chris Aug.29,2005 , but even worse the studio was flooded by seven feet of water. We lost all of our music and both had to struggle to come back up. This was the push for us to go to the labels. We want our company “Chemical Productions†to be able to put out soundtracks, artist and group albums so we are looking for a distribution/promotional deal. Deranged has been featured on three national albums including Big Mikes latest album on the song “take it outsideâ€. Also featured on that album is BG and Rick Ross. Deranged is a member of the group Affiliated Gang and also would like to do some solo work. He is involved in the community and helped rebuild and clean up New Orleans after Katrina. He is involved in Managing other artist for Chemical Productions such as Vocal Superstar, Lil Mannie, Nitti, and others to come. He is also a published photographer of his wife Model/Actress Brandy Moon.
