I'm an introverted, perhaps even hermit-like, girl from a micro town in Indiana. I moved to Virginia to work for an animal rights org. Then I changed my name to GoVeg.com for a few years and worked my ass off to help people realize that eating veggies saves thousands of animals from the unimaginable pain and suffering of factory farms, commercial fishing nets, and slaughterhouses. I met an amazingly perfect person who is wildly talented and beyond patient with me-- and we've adopted two (dog) children together. After a totally abrupt change in career path, I've gathered myself up off the pavement and decided to dedicate myself (again) to fostering more compassion in people! I'm currently attending grad school to get my masters in special education and I'm teaching teens with Asperger's syndrome.
