Hi, I'm Mike Smith. I am a Guitar teacher based within Worcestershire, working from within the delights of Kidderminster.
Over the years I have played in countless bands but spend most of my time now transcribing classic traxs to teach my students, and also helping my students and my daughters work on their musical idea's.....
With regards to my teaching, I cover most aspects of music, specialising primarily in Rock, especially 70s & 80's stuff - Thin Lizzy, Led Zep, Robin Trower, Racer X, Whitesnake, Dio, Jason Becker, Vai, Satriani to mention but a few.
Presently, I am working on putting together a Robin Trower Tribute Band called Trower Power... With the main aim being to re-create note for note the classic Robin Trower Live album and the super Bridge of Sighs. So far the band consists of me, Kez my bass payer and Simon on Drums - However, looking foe a class vocalist, So if you're interested, just mail me!

My teaching is based within an academy, notably,
'Muzo's Rock Academy where I teach alongside 3 other friends -
Kez , Dave and John. We aim to offer the most professional tuition within the Worcestershire region - offering students
1-2-1 tution. Or for those who prefer, group tuition. As part of our academy, we offer students the prospect of group performance at our ever popular 'Student Events', proving that with just a small amount of dedication you can stand up in front of a crowd of people and play your heart out!!.
