Shanachie

Shanachie is five female group that performs the traditional music such as England, Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Europe by an original arrangement.
We withered beauty of the tradition music of Europe, and formed in April, 1998.
We perform not only Ballad and the dance music but also the traditional music of Japan.
We are holding the concert by various styles such as in the hall, the museum, and the forest in Japan.
Shanachie シャナヒーは、主にイングランドやスコット ランド、アイルランドなどのブリテン諸島や 、スウェーデン、ノルウェーなど北欧の伝承 音楽をベースに独自のアレンジで演奏する女 性ばかりの5人グループです。
ヨーロッパに古くから伝わる伝承音楽の美し さに惹かれ、1998年4月に結成。 歴史的背景のある伝承歌、語りを交えた物語 歌、器楽によるダンス音楽、またそれらをベ ースにしたオリジナル曲を演奏しています。 語りと音をコラボレートした物語コンサート も度々企画し、関西を中心に全国のホール、 美術館、森のコンサートなど様々なスタイル でコンサート活動を行っています。
シャナヒーの音楽は、伝統的な楽器とピアノ ・シンセサイザーの響きの融合を持ち味とし 、トラディショナルのみに留まらない非常に 透明度の高い非現実なサウンドで聴衆を包み ます。
