I love home parties, inviting friends over for a meal, or tea, and if they have a request, to play for them on my piano, giving to the people I love. I made this album with just that same feeling. And in these songs, even though there are no lyrics, but just like cooking rich, beautiful dishes if I play each note with my heart, I want to believe my hospitality will be felt by people who listen. If you can receive each and every feeling in each note, nothing would make me happier.

Migiwa Miyajima(Piano / Arrange / Compose)
Born in 17th of June in Hitachi, Ibaraki.
Influenced by parents, grew up listening a lot of records. Started playing Classic Piano from 3 years old, and started composing since 6 years old.Won "Grand prize in Japan/writing&composing section" when 15 years old. After that, during majoring education at Sophia University,started playing Jazz Piano.
Right now, besides a leader of the big band "miggy+(miggy augment)", started playing at the instrumental duo "hitme&miggy" since 2004.
Imaginable improvisations, sentimental melody line, and impressive harmony is remarkable.
Performing not only with her own band, but other bands also, contributing compositions and support for vocalists such as HISAMOTO Tomoko among others, and the teaching of student Big Bands, offering the BGM for "ITOI's almost dairy Newspaper (Hobonichi)", offering arrengement for Jazz Orchestra "Daiki Yasukagawa F.E.J.E" etc, being busy as an arranger and composer.Perticipating as a pianist for the short comedy of "City Boys"(comedian), is handling very unique activities.
