About Me

Hello! My name is juli.
I was born, brought up and still live in Tokyo.
I have spent several years of my childfood in Nagoya (age 4-10), and one year in the U.K. for study. I hope my English is good enough for daily communication. but I'm afraid of losing it because although I use it at work it is mainly reading and writing and only a little speaking. Anyway, I try using English here in MySpace.
I work in a part of trading biz, handling import and export. I tend to work late, but it's simply because when it is 16:00/17:00 in Japan, European people start working and send me urgent enquiries.
I enjoy occasional Onsen trips. When it comes to overseas travel, I travelled to Europe when I was staying in the U.K. And I really love to travel to Europe again!! During the recent years, I have only been to some Asian countries. I love Taiwan!

Music:

Pop, Rock, Bossa Nova, Classical.
80's UK pop. U2 (early days).
Bryan Ferry is my あこがれのおじさま .
台流/華流 since late 1990's.
Jay Chou (周杰倫).
Phil Chang (張宇) - Is he fine lately?

When I was in the first year at junior high school (age 12-13), my teacher sometimes played pop music in the class. He was a big fan of the Beatles. And the first song he introduced to us was John Lennon's IMAGINE. And we were kind of forced to memorise the lyrics.

Movies:

Harry Potter.
Nuovo Cinema Paradiso.
Roman Holiday. Alfred Hitchcock.
Suspence and Comedies.
I like watching old films on DVD.

Television:

I don't watch TV. I get very little time. J-Wave, instead.
Kabira san used to wake me up. Now it's Sascha.
Only exceptions :

I used to like : Pokemon.
2-hour suspence dramas (ã€Œå®¶æ”¿å©¦ã¯è¦‹ãŸï¼ã€ï¼ˆçµ‚ã‚ã£ã¦æ®‹å¿µï¼ ï¼‰ã€€ã€Œæµ… Sherlock Holmes. Poirot.

Monty Python's Flying Circus. (I watched it on video/DVD. I learnt English through them! Weird?)

Books:

I could spend hours in a book shop, just looking!

Mystery Novels: Sherlock Holmes. Agatha Christie.
