ko ashida (aka. akko/studio:ex-presso)
was born in kyoto, graduated from oklahoma state university, major in sociology, especially juvenile delinquency and religious study.
since my childhood, i was familiar with violin, guitar & various stringed instruments, also, was a cencert master in intramural orchestra under the enrollment in collage.
through two years tour in oklahoma and chicago, i came back to japan, and now belongs to the design office bitbeans inc. (tokyo, japan), deals with sounds and motion graphics.
studio:ex-presso
was established since 1995, as my personal label, which express cultural and artistic experiment in the field of the internet and, of course, music. the name of the label shows "express", "expression", or "excess" of "espresso". in other words, expression of serious bitter taste of our life.

was concept unit by akko and n.ohtsu, organized and activated for mo'element 2005. between various genres freely, they pursue the possibility of their pop music.
