The F-Files, founded in April of 2004, is a grassroots, feminist radio show dedicated to radical change via direct action. We despise the pornography industry. Our goal is to provide information on a variety of topics as they relate to wimmin and the intersectionality of race, class, sexuality and other forms of hierarchical oppression. People are not aliens. In the process of providing alternative radio, we struggle to “free speech†from the corporate, white, male hands that continue to strangle dissenting voices. MTV sucks. We do not claim to be free of ideologies but we refuse to shove them down your throat as is often the case with corporate owned, hegemonic media which causes many wimmin to vomit among other things. Organized religion is a scam. While everyone is entitled to our opinion, we would like to make it clear that even though the F-Files has an obvious political slant, we are not afraid to challenge our own beliefs. As a result, our opinions and ideas are constantly evolving and may deviate from those expressed in previous recordings. At the same time, various ideas are validated and reinforced as new shows are recorded, literature read and experiences shared.
We still despise the pornography industry.
