BIOGRAPHY
Ryojin 666 (Ba, Jigoku Guruma & ex-2 Side 1 Brain) and Takashi (Gt) formed THORN OF TRUTH in 2005.
During that summer they met at Studio el Sol and hit it off instantly.
In the fall they both quit the bands they were in and started working together. From the time they first met, they talked about their ideas for Ginowan New Bay Area Crunch and started looking for members to form a new band.
The lead guitarist, Yukitaro, and vocalist, Yasu, were found one after another but there was difficulty finding a drummer. Even though the drummer had yet to be found, they started writing songs and THORN OF TRUTH began!
About 2 months later in December at an after party, Takashi became acquainted with Taka Angel Ripper.. He suggested to Taka to come to the studio and jam if he was into thrash.
They played together and clicked naturally. Taka, without realizing it, became a part of the band. A week later he officially joined.
With 2006 right around the corner, the band was finally complete with 5 members and started rehearsing.
Through lots of trial and error, they made new songs and had their first show in March 2006 at 7th Heaven Koza.
In June Yasu (Vo) left but in September Wataru (ex-Southern Tribe) became the new vocalist.
THORN OF TRUTH contributed 2 songs, “Seed†& “Sacrifice†to the Okinawa loud rock metal compilation “Metal Militia - Total Steel Okinawa†which was released in September as well.
In December Yukitaro (Gt) left the band.
In February 2007 their first solo EP “Bright of Darkness†was released.
In July TAKA (Dr) left the band, and Ganaha became the surport drummer.
