I had worked in Japanese music business, record company, retail music store and artist management company. It was great and wonderful time for me to spend with co-workers, especially in the last company. I had been at the recording studio for much time with artists and musicians.
Now I'm a PhD student, researching music business.
J-ROCK and J-POP gave me incredible experience and impression. So I think I owe Japanese music business, I'd like to contribute to it in turn.
After working in music business, now I feel I'm in the situation and position which I've been dreaming. When I was a junior high school student, to be engaged in music business was one of my biggest dreams. In those days, I felt it's unreachable and distant-world from me.
I was a mere X & YOSHIKI fan when I was a child. But I thought that I must gain somewhat advantage or it's unreachable forever. Then I've been trying to approach music business very hard. My efforts bore fruit, finally I could be engaged in music business as an artist manager. That's very happy for me.
I had managed a J-POP artist "orange pekoe". Here is its website . Although I love rock music, thanks to this artist and its band members I could know much about various music, jazz, Brazilian music, African music, etc...
But I decided to retire from artist management business. From now on I'll be a researcher or a professional of music business.
Of course my interest in music business is still alive!
Dreams must come true.
That's not imagination but reality.
Life is unexpected.
