Watanabe and Yamashita, who got acquainted respectively as a performer from another band at the event held in Tokyo, participated in their friend's band as a support member in November, 2000. Two members who felt the possibility of expression mutually through the support activity, soon began the session in studio. Afterwards, about the session had been proposed to Nagano who was acting in the other band, and the session by three members performed several times. In addition, to make it to the band sound, Masuhara, from the band which Yamashita participated in the past was invited as talent who can correspond to the style in the improvisation. Instrumental tunes arose naturally while piling up the session among four members, but they stopped the session temporarily to restructure the band with vocal. Then they came to know Mibe, who was acquainted with Watnabe, taking charge of the production of his costume wants to play music.They were looking for the male vocalist who belong to another band, but when they listened demo tape including Mibe’s voice they turned their policy. The first meeting together in five people was held on January 28, 2004. The activity started here in full scale as "Kara".
