ZIPPING UP MY BOOTS, GOING BACK TO MY ROOTS...

About Me

What I am and what I appear to be can be two entirely different things. Although I appear to be chatty and even flighty, nothing could be further from the truth. In reality I have many deep (Hmmmn!) and penetrating insights, all of which are geared towards sorting out potential problems before they come along(Ah ha). So therefore I'm a happy soulful lad traipsing around the country of Italy yet at the same time on a journey to a more thoughtful self discovery. For now I'm based in Milan and have fallen in love with the the Italian lifestyle along with the wonderful landscapes and beaches. But why Milan I hear you say?! Good question... Very noisy, very polluted and sometimes a bit stuck up, but the life in Milan is much more advanced in comparison to the rest of Italy and over the past few years I've met some very special people who live here. There are also some very nice little bars and some interesting events especially the ARCI (active citizen network) events that promote social issues, good music and reasonable prices as unfortunately sometimes Milan does get a bit Gucci! I'm basically easy-going, fun-loving, accepting, patient and I would say quite caring too. I also pocess afew negatives traits too, what? I'm human - I'm just being honest! I sometimes may seem slightly and a little strangely nervous in situations (ooh watch out!!) but with my wealth of friends and plenty to do this tends to be very fleeting (phew!). I am also probably quite untidy too (not dirty though!!) with quite a butterfly mind but I tend to take it in my stride and sometimes even relish it. My favourite colours are blue and green, my most enjoyable experiences generally occur in the summer like swimming in the sea, sunbathing with a cool cocktail or dancing at weekend folkelectronica festivals, I love the moon, I love staying up late with a friend,a bottle of wine and a packet of marlboro lights - I don't like big black clouds, ignorance and impatience. My biggest dream is to find a quaint little commune of like-minded people near the sea to create sellable products and be self-sufficient with my own little vegetable patch. So if anyone has anywhere they want to rent or need working on or even house sitting while they're off galavanting round the world then give me a bell!... If not watch this space and I may buy one some day soon!?
