ABOUT THE EVENT:
A Unique Jamfest to raise funds for the completion of the film “For the Love of the City” held on Saturday, November 4th FROM 3:00PM (music at 4:00) UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT at The Oaks in Manor, TX.
ABOUT THE FILM:
This project started in 2004 as a documentary about New Orleans’ world-renowned Jazzfest. However, after the tragic murder of local New Orleans artist Daniel Breaux in 2004 and last year’s Hurricane Katrina…the focus expanded.
The film now captures the vibe and spirit of this innovative festival and the social and musical interaction between festival attendees, performers, and residents of the city.

EVENT FEATURES:

*Footage of the documentary to give a feel for the project.
*The BEST of New Orleans and Austin musicians interacting together to celebrate the culture of New Orleans:

ALSO, there will be a jam session featuring the For the Love of the City All-Star Band. The SuperJam artists confirmed include the following:
