1) Will you sell me this item now? What is your buy it now price? Most items I sell are "buy it now" and will end the moment you commit to buying the item by placing a bid.
2) How much is shipping? Shipping is included in the auction description toward the bottom. Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii is the same as the rest of the US. The only part of the USA that is cheaper is Guam. Right now I'm not quoting shipping to Africa or South America mostly because the freight is so expensive. You will need to almost double my quoted shipping rate to the USA. Ouch!
3) How long does shipping take? The average is 3-5 days to the US. At the very most a week. To the UK and Europe it takes a few extra days.
4) Will you go into business with me? I am working 12 hours + 7 days a week now so any extra work and I will probably have an embolism.
5) Are the photos of the item I will receive? Yes. I take new photos of every item. (Unless I mention specifically otherwise)
6) Can you send me an engine or fenders , bumpers etc.? I don't send shipping containers which means freight is expensive. Large heavy items are impossible. Also, I'm working from home which means I don't have the space.
7) Can you find me a ......? If I happen to have what you're looking for or know where one is I will try and help. Simply, I just buy what comes along. Orders are difficult to fill.
8) What about duty and freight for Europe, UK and Canada? (Duty free to the USA) The USA is duty free. No federal or state taxes to pay. Europe, UK, Canada, Australia and others will apply duty and consumption tax (VAT/GST/Sales Tax) to commercial items. If the item you are buying is a gift and falls under US$200 there should be no tax to pay. I will send any item as a gift if requested. You may also value the item at whatever you feel is correct. Only Germany, France and Australia cause regular problems.
9) There's another seller using your photos and auction descriptions. Is this you? No. I only use the one auction ID. There have been a lot of cases where my auction format has been copied and photos used without permission. If it's not "Japandyno" it's not me. Chances are they're just young guys over here in Japan without a camera and very much creativity. Probably straight up and honest. Just check out their feedback and be careful. There have been 2 cases of my auctions being copied for criminal purposes. The sellers feedback in both cases had been mid 50's but all as a buyer of dime store items. If they don't have at least a few positive seller feedback's be really careful. I can't help you find them if they disappear. To be sure it's me look for the user name "Japandyno", "Japandyno" photo.
10) What does JDM mean? JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market. Parts that are sold in Japan for use locally. US parts are USDM and European parts are EDM. Sometimes JDM and USDM parts are the same. Often they are different. Why? Because of different safety standards. Most JDM headlights are the same as found in Europe but different from the USDM version because they did not pass DOT ( US Department of Transport )standards at the time. Most would pass now with the new DOT rules. It's all crazy really. Another reason is the Clinton administration demanded more local components in USDM Japanese vehicles. During the 90's the best lights were made by Stanley and Iki of Japan. The US lost out and got inferior lights.
11) You are in Japan so you can get JDM but this other seller in Asia is selling JDM items. Why? Sometimes items sold in other Asian countries are the same as JDM. Especially right hand drive countries. Cars drive on the left here with the steering wheel on the right. Same goes for Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand etc. Often they get the same models as sold in Japan. Technically it's not JDM but it's the same and comes from the same factory so what's the difference. There are also a few guys in Asia selling Apexi/HKS/R-Spec products. If you purchased one of their items and it hasn't arrived don't freak out. Actual shipping should take only 3-5 days but they could be importing the unit from Japan with your money. They probably don't hold stock. Lots of Japanese companies sell items to countries with weak currencies at lower prices then they do here in Japan. If you have purchased an item and are writing to ask if I know this person and the item hasn't arrived what should I do. Check their feedback. They are probably honest. If you read their auction carefully you will most likely find something like 2 weeks to ship or 14 days before shipment. I don't know any of the sellers. I can not track them down for you. My only advice is next time buy from me. I have all the items sitting here ready to send the moment the auction ends and payment is received.
