People tell me about stuff I did or stories I told a long time ago, and I can almost never remember what they're talking about. Why does this happen? What bothers me this week is that I can't remember the background to a story I told once about a girl I met who thought that monkeys were baby bears. Can anyone help? And if a monkey is a baby bear, then what's a baby monkey? Did I ask her this? Did I clear up the confusion (not likely) or encourage it (likely)?
