Friends and family are some of the most important things to me, I am lucky to be graced with many caring friends and a great family. I have a habit of giving too much of myself to people whether it is my heart, my friendship or my time. One of my biggest flaws is my inability to give up on something, I will keep working towards my goals until it is no longer physically possible.
In my mind time alone is priceless, but time with someone special is irreplaceable. I love snuggling on a cold winters night and watching movie after movie drinking hot chocolate. I love staying up late and talking until it is so late that nothing make sense anymore, except the constant laughter. I'm a hopeless romantic, walking on the beach at night holding hands is simply amazing. I am an amazing cook and I love having quiet dinners at home. I love the drive-in movie theater, every time I go I feel like I am in an old fashioned movie. There's nothing sexier than natural beauty. I'd rather date a guy that is handsome then hot. I think that it is important to be healthy, but listening to someone obsessed with fitness is just plain overbearing. I have the same feeling towards every person who says they are on a diet and then swallows down the words with a pound and half of pasta with a lard based sauce and a quart of sugary drink.
I respect people who have good values and stick with them. I hate being lied to, I'm a big girl and can handle the truth, if you think otherwise then why are we friends? I still remember being at a diner years ago with a few friends and telling each other what we disliked about one another, it was strange but truly nothing is more liberating then honesty. The only way you truly see yourself as a whole or improve yourself is if you can balance your self-perception and other-perceptions of you.
I am currently enrolled in college to get my degree in marketing, my favorite classes are abnormal psychology, psychology, interpersonal communication and marketing. I love studying reactions of people. I also love reading, if I pick up a book you probably won't hear from me until I am finished with it. I enjoy taking pictures, black and white photos are my favorite, they give every thing in them that classic look and I love that. Horror movies and Halloween are both amazing in my mind. Indie and foreign flicks are almost as good. I also love comedy and some anime. I love music, all music everything from rock, emo, punk, ska, hardcore, metal, 80s, rap, reggae, alternative, grunge, classical, classic rock, etc etc etc. Computer & Video games are important as well....I also really enjoy writing. I write all of the time, everything from short stories to poetry to erotica, I've also been attempting to write two books. One of my favorite most relaxing things to do is to sit in the grass during a brisk spring night and write for hours and hours.
I also love camping, building, wood carving and roller hockey. Spontaneous road trips and just traveling in general. One of my goals is to save enough money to travel through Europe.
Sometimes I am quiet, sometimes I am loud and obnoxious but I am never mean unless you have crossed me. It takes a lot for me to trust someone because most people are scum but despite that I am very open-minded and accepting. I love trying, experiencing and learning new things.
Life isn't perfect and bad things are bound to happen from time to time, I have learned that the best way to get through them is to take the experience and learn and grow from it. It's never a regret if you learned something.
