I've never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful.

About Me

So a bit about me, you ask? OK.... then I will take this time to brag about my ability to quote Guns 'n Roses more acrurately than any other girl I know. Most people are also pretty impressed with my extensive knowledge of the beer world (both forieign and domestic). And, I'm afraid to say, I actually enjoy watching the Star Wars flicks... I have a bit of an obsession with Lloyd Dobbler(if you don't know the reference research John Cusack 80's films) and Donny Baseball. I live in NYC and have a fabulous group of friends that I spend as much time with as possible. My family is not too far, but I definately don't see them enough. I work hard (2 jobs) and play hard (sometimes a little too hard- but hey that's the fun part). I am a social worker in a hospital, and my job becomes more and more challenging everyday and I would never ask for anything else. I (probably not independently, but...) plan to change the world one day. I also have the pleasure of working part-time in a bar, and would never give it up. Serving drunk people more alcohol always makes for an interesting evening. I assist in running a camp for kids that have heart disease, this is also quite challenging, however it is worth every second. I consider myself passionate about life and everything I do (some may call me stubborn). I am currently 'trying' to become a runner and plan on running the 2007 NYC Marathon! I am a Jersey girl at heart and try to frequent the shore as often as possible (unfortunately that is not often enough). I am not completely sure why I have decided to be a "MySpacer", (although mildly influenced by the fact that I couldn't read other people's sneaky blurbs) but I think it may be a fun way to connect with those who I have not seen in a while and possible meet those that I have never seen? My Interests

Ahhhh.... today? Running (and trying to train for the 2007 NYC Marathon), Yankees, Beer and Wine, reading, cooking and or dining out, water (the drinkable and swimable kind), getting out of the city, loving and appreciating every aspect of the city.... and "WORK as if you don't need the money; LOVE as if you've never been hurt; DANCE as if no one is watching!"

My great-grand parents, Ernest Hemmingway, Donny B and anyone who can make me smile, laugh, or view the world from a different perspective.

Again too many.... Updated: Currently: I am currently into some motivational reading... Just Finished 'A Travelers Gift'- A simply written book to help guide you to find your true potential.. I know it sounds stupid- but it is my newest "Pay it forward" and I have a feeling it may catch on. Just finishing a plethora of short stories grouped together in a book called 'Small Miracles'... motivating short stories about real life miracles.... I am also currently reading Carson McCullers, 'The Heart is a Lonely Hunter'- an amazing classic- loving it so far...
