Derrin Richards

Hi, I'm Derrin, currently living in Tauranga, New Zealand. I've been playing the guitar on and off for twenty years (yikes!). The guitar has always been there, but you know how it is with life and stuff getting in the way...Anyway, in the last 2-3 years I've gotten back into playing seriously and have jumped into full-blown singer-songwriter mode. Previously I'd only considered myself a guitarist, but funny how things change, eh? And they're not changing back now. So that's me: "half man, half guitar" - sounds like some freakish Frankenstein analogy, I know, but it's an accurate picture of my new-found obsession with the guitar, and with songwriting and music-making in general.
