Ses influences aux origines Electro l'ont conduites aux musiques électroniques au milieu des années 90, et cest tout naturellement quil sest prit de passion pour la Techno. Il fréquente alors des clubs comme lOktan (Emmendingen - DE) ou le Pustelblum (Lahr - DE).
Côté mix tout commence au défunt V8 (Lahr - DE), où il remporte un DJ Contest début 1998. Il tourne alors régulièrement sur Strasbourg et en Allemagne aux côtés de Flo, Christian Gimbel ou Sacha Barth...
1999 voit la naissance de sa petite fille Eva.
Sydney poursuit ainsi sa passion de DJ et enchaîne les dates avec des artistes tels que Gallen, Ellen Allien, Gayle San, Jack de Marseille ou Scan X !!!
En 2001 il rencontre Dr Leslie, musicien et amateur de House, avec qui il va rapidement créer le label EVA Records... Il investit petit à petit dans un home studio afin de travailler sérieusement à la réalisation de sa propre musique. Il signera ainsi en 2002 et 2003 les deux premières références du label, dont la deuxième en collaboration avec Dr Leslie. Son premier EP incluant le track "Bedauern" fut dailleurs playlisté, entre autres, par Sven Väth et Adam X qui la compilé sur CD (Adam X "Thingstocome").
Sydney développe également un live en solo mêlant Techno et Electro, aux légères influences Minimal et Trance. Toujours très demandé, il se produit alors avec Thomas Schumacher, André Dalcan, Monika Kruse, Claude Young ou Johannes Heil !!!
Il reste en live comme en DJ, un fin programmateur toujours à la recherche de la qualité et de lefficacité.
With a hard-hitting Techno and Electro sound, Sydney Roy knows how to keep a very groovy personal touch. His Electro influences drove him to the electronic musics in the middle of the 90s, and it is quite naturally that he is taken of passion for Techno. He frequents then clubs as Oktan (Emmendingen - Ger) or Pustelblum (Lahr - Ger).
About DJing everything begins to the deceased V8 (Lahr - Ger), where he gains a DJ Contest at the beginning of 1998. He turns then regularly on Strasbourg and in Germany beside Flo, Christian Gimbel or Sacha Barth... 1999 sees the birth of his daughter Eva.

He invests bit by bit in a home studio to work seriously on the realization of his own music. He will sign so in 2002 and 2003 the first two references of the label, of which the second in association with Dr Leslie. His first EP including the track "Bedauern" was moreover playlisted, among others, by Sven Väth and Adam X who compiled it on CD (Adam X « Thingstocome »).
Sydney also develops a solo live involving Techno and Electro, in the light influences of Minimal and Trance. Always very wanted, he occurs then with Thomas Schumacher, André Dalcan, Monika Kruse, Claude Young or Johannes Heil !!!
He remains live as in DJ, a fine time switch always in search of the quality and of the efficiency.
