What's up MySpace!My name is Alma and I am 27 years old. I have always had a great love for music and I played the piano for around 10 years growing up.
I moved to London from Sweden in 2003 to study for a BA degree in Music and Media Management.
I graduated in June 06 and went on to complete a position with Leap Music Ltd, a publishing company specializing on music for television.
I then worked for The Phonographic Performance Ltd (The UK equivalence of ASCAP and Swedish STIM), for just over a year.
During which time I also started an event company by the name of Mezmerise Entertainment together with two business partners. The company specializes in music events aimed at the young/urban market.
We had our launch event, The Dutty Wine Showdown in Nov 06 in Stockholm; with the exclusive first time performance of Tony Matterhorn in Sweden.
It was a very successful event and we are now in talks with bigger sponsors for future events.
In the fall of 07 I moved on to study for a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL). My course is now finished and I'm in the process of securing employment.
