Self introductions are typically lame. Who really knows what to say in these things anyways? Well I suppose I could start out by saying I have a tendency to be a private person. I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder when I was younger, but anymore thats not really much of a factor. I dont mind being around people really, just am pretty quiet most of the time since I dont feel like I have much to say. Im an student of the arts; music, writing, painting. I guess Im pretty nerdy, and like nerdy things; history, movies, computers, video games, etc. I enjoy a lot of simple things; rain storms, good food, good company, and obviously I like complex things as well. I am of a non traditional spiritual belief, so if thats a problem, then I would ask that you dont talk to me. I hate drama; so if you are one of those immature drama queen/king types, just leave me alone, seriously. I finished a year in Americorps, national volunteer service, and it was a very rewarding experience. I was able to meet a group of awesome people when I served a month in New Orleans, and would do it a thousand times over. I like to do laborious work, and cant stand the idea of sitting at a desk doing office work my entire life, even if that means I will be a wage slave the rest of my life. I do have dreams, and I do have hopes, so dont just think Im some sort of loser who cant get an education, and wishes to make something of themselves. Im an intellectual at heart, and while I believe that the stereotype is that Janitors and manual laborers are uneducated, I would like to destroy that stereotype, as my family have all been hard laborious workers, and very intelligent people.
