my name is melanie.....i like for the sun to shine on me everyday, although that doesnt always happen. i love photography (and planning to attend spokane falls community college this fall...) and daydream of working for national geographic. i also love to write poetry and want to someday have enough compliations to compose a small book named "the yin-yang of love". i love being in love with my husband (who is now a paralegal in the USAF) and love being a mother of two children, hopefully i can teach them to be free and full of life, and to never give up striving to live out your dreams within the realms of being yourself...i've just recently moved to the spokane area..5/07..and experienced my first run at white water rafting in missolua montana with 10,000 waves (the guides there are great and so down to earth)..so NOW IM ADDICTED..anyway...thats just alittle about me...mel-a-nie.Myspace Codes Free MySpace Layouts

I'd like to meet:

those people who live for creativity and who live to make their dreams reality. i want to meet those who can inspire and are willing to share what GOD has shared with them. i want to meet people that have the doorway to their hearts always open just in case they meet someone who needs a friend.

Music:

i love so many kinds of music i dont know where to start. trance, alittle drum and bass, electro funk, house, rock, punk, emo, trip hop, but just about anything with great lyrics (im a lyrical girl, meaning it can have a great beat but if its lyrically good as well its possibly one of my favs);yes yes...ive been known from time to time to shake my ass at many a rave... i also love bluegrass and spent the summer of 1995 traveling around the american landscape following "the grateful dead". (thats a summer ill never forget.) i have been known to get into the groove of radio hits but i am trying more and more to stay close to orginalty and keep my own light shining. although in order to do that completely id have to be the composer which i have no talent so i guess in that respect i have to count on the talents of another. i love music in general because i love to feel the emotions of others, and so now im rambling....so anyway i love bt, tiesto, oakenfold, way out west, kosheen, john b, goldfrapp, portishead, anything from the 80's, there are to many to name..a few favs are duran duran, depeche mode, the go-go's (lol) hummmmm lets see, i also really like ladytron, adult, olive, dave matthews, joni mitchell, counting crows, blind melon, staind, green day, rise against, incubus, pearl jam, and a couple of my new favorites are ONErepublic, the postal service, shiny toys guns, death cab for cutie,roisin murphy, paramore, imogen heap, kosheen... they are all just absolutely incrediable...this could go on forever so i think ill stop while im ahead....toodlesMyspace Codes Free MySpace Layouts

Movies:

im all about some drama.....although some of my favorite movies include footloose, purple rain, dirty dancing, sixteen candles, flashdance, breakfast club, cold mountain, cinderella man,.........this is a hard question; one that i can not answer without some long hard thinking...so ive sumed up i love 80's flicks and i love dramas....when i rethink this i will come back and update.

Television:

i like alot of pop culture reality tv, as well as hbo series..."sex in the city", "six feet under", "big love"..."so you think you can dance" is one of my all time favs..hummmm once again hard question...a new fav is showtime series "dexter", im hooked on "heroes" and "journeyman"..i love the "dog whisperer"...

Books:
