WATERSHED

About Me

Plymouth based band Watershed released their latest album 'The Eyes of Eli Wallach' in September 2006.Watershed have a history dating back over 17 years. During this time there have been record deals, heartbreak, the sad loss of one time keyboard player Dave Gregory and a continued love of music and what it can bring. Playing self-styled music, the sound of the band has constantly evolved with time. The latest incarnation sees the bands space-rock/reggae sound of the mid nineties giving way to a more insightful musical approach and introspective song writing style. The songs of Al Shalliker and powerful vocals of Jo Atkins are now coloured by the great guitar playing of Ben Grubb. Alex McGinnes (drums and harmonica) and Tony Davies (bass) complete this impressive line-up.'The Eyes of Eli Wallach' also features bass playing from Mike Matheson of Mad Dog McRae on tracks 'Albert Einstein' and 'American Beauty'. Mike also adds some melodica to 'Nothing Moves Gently' and whistle to 'Coming Through In Colour'.The new album is available at the price of only £5 plus postage and packing using the PayPal link available on this space.Over the years Watershed have appeared with many bands including: The Levellers, Desmond Dekker and The Aces, Misty In Roots, Bad Manners and Geno Washington. Watershed have played extensively throughout the UK and gig highlights include performances at Glastonbury festival and the legendary Treworgy Tree Fair.Get Your Own! | View SlideshowGet Your Own! | View Slideshow»-(¯`v´¯)-» Design your MySpace with MyLook «-(¯`v´¯)-«
