[email protected] Bio:Superextra was formed in mid-1999 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. By July of 2000, it had arrived at it's current lineup consisting of Ezequiel Suárez on vocals and guitar, Alejo Provvidente on lead guitar, Federico Gutiérrez on bass, and Federico Romano on drums. In July of 2001 they released their first LP Aqui independently, with singles being played throughout Argentina on major market radio programs.The video clip of the song Test (first album) saw significant airtime on music channels such as MTV, CM (Canal de la Música), and MM (Much Music).In July of 2005, the bands second and latest LP Exilio was edited. The fourteen song release was recorded and mixed by Pablo Catania between August and December of 2004. Mastered by Mario Breuer. The bands unique consolidation of the modern musical style while retaining it's personality has made it a welcome arrival to the Argentine music scene, with tracks such as Contra (No. 2), Rompecabezas (No. 4) and Detrás (No. 8) shining brightly for their originality, power and true rock ingenuity.Other contributions:In 2003, Superextra contributed to the first ever Kyuss tribute album titled Listen Without Distraction, offering their version of the song Space Cadet. This album has been released in Europe as well, and is being sold worldwide.
